WTI Crude oil futures are holding just above $79 per barrel as supportive equities are capping the losses for the counter. The commodity had dropped recently on profit selling and rising US crude oil rig count. Asian stocks mostly rose. China's Shanghai Composite index jumped 0.90%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index spiked 1%. European markets stayed mildly supported. The Dow ended with a gain of 368.95 points or 1.09 percent at 34,086.04.
